Our Christmas in Austin was a lot of fun! On the 23rd, we had the boys over for an afternoon of scooting and a sleepover. We attended church on the 24th where the kids participated in a live reenactment of the Christmas story. We hosted Christmas Eve dinner at our house which was really special because it was one of the very first times we had anyone over to our new house. They spent the night together on Christmas Eve in Claire's room. Claire dashed to bed at like 8 pm because she was petrified Santa was going to get to her house before she was sleeping. Harper was not the least bit concerned. Ha! Then, our little family woke up on Christmas morning to the magic of Santa Claus. It was super special and so much fun to watch the girls' faces light up with excitement. We went to Grandma and Pops to open presents at lunch time. It was a lot of fun! Grandma and Pops gave Harper a dollhouse that she is so in love with, and Claire got an IPod Shuffle with a small speaker that hasn't stopped playing aloud in her room since she got it. My Mom made an incredible meal and we enjoyed each other very much. It was a very wonderful few days with the whole family together. Thank you to Grandma and Pops for a special Christmas. We love you and are very blessed by your love.
